If you wait to bring your car to campus until the spring or summer sessions, the cost to purchase a permit will be prorated.

Students living in Sterry, Lantana and Butler

Residents of Sterry, Butler and Lantana Halls may purchase a eGreen Residence Hall Permit that allows parking on the top three floors of the Edward Gary Garage (5, 6, and 7). These permits are also valid in any other Green Residence Hall Garage or Lot on campus.

Residents will be issued a gate access card that can be used to enter and exit the garage from the LBJ Street location. Residents who park their vehicles in levels 1-4 will be issued a $40 citation for parking out-of- zone. Gate access cards are only to be used for the vehicle registered to the resident. Sharing the access card or using it to allow others to enter or exit will deactivate the card. There is a $20 fee to reactivate the card in the event it has been misused. Replacement cards are $10. Access cards must be returned to the Parking Services Office when moving out of the halls. Questions or concerns, or assistance with gate entry/exit can be directed to the Edward Garage Office from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, or at any time 24/7 by calling 512-245-7992.
